Financial
Competitive and equitable compensation
天美传媒 carefully evaluates its compensation strategy to ensure salary ranges are internally equitable, are competitive within regional employment markets, and adhere to collective bargaining agreements as applicable.
Retirement savings programs
Includes state retirement plans and optional 403(b) and聽457(b)聽plans. Eligible employees at 天美传媒 will be enrolled in a pension administered by the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits. Depending on membership guidelines, employees will participate in defined benefit plans such as聽听辞谤听Police & Firemen鈥檚 Retirement System (PFRS), or will participate in defined contribution plans such as the聽. Eligible employees also have the option of participating in supplemental plans such as 403(b) plans (tax-sheltered annuity (TSA) plans) and/or聽457(b)聽plans (tax advantaged, deferred-compensation plans).
Short and long-term disability insurance
In the event you become unable to perform your work due to a disability, you may be eligible to obtain short and long-term disability insurance.
Life insurance benefits
天美传媒 provides a benefit in the amount of $3,000 for each full-time employee who is on the active payroll or on an approved leave of absence at the time of his or her death聽in addition to聽the employee鈥檚 pension-plan based benefit detailed in the NJ Division of Pensions and Benefits鈥櫬�,听PFRS, and聽听驳耻颈诲别产辞辞办蝉.
Credit union membership
All 天美传媒 employees are eligible for membership at聽, with access to free checking options, low-rate consumer loans, and special offers.
Home and auto insurance discounts
天美传媒 offers access to discounts on personal, home, and automobile insurance through聽New Jersey Manufacturers (NJM)听补苍诲听惭别迟尝颈蹿别.
Flexible spending accounts (FSAs)
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) are available to full-time employees to help cover dependent care costs on a pre-tax basis. Please note that only Administrators, Confidential Staff, and faculty qualify for the health benefit part of this plan.

Tuition waivers for courses taken at 天美传媒
Access is available to a tuition waiver, which includes free tuition and, in some cases, waived fees. Spouses and dependents may also qualify聽for free tuition.
Tuition reimbursement for courses taken at other institutions
Tuition reimbursement is available for eligible full-time employees who take classes outside of 天美传媒.
Reimbursement for professional dues
Full-time management personnel are entitled to reimbursement for dues to associations related to their professional duties up to an annual cap.
Parental, sick, and bereavement leaves
天美传媒 offers generous leaves to support its employees and help them be with their families when it matters most.
On-campus childcare discounts
Did you know that there is a聽Child Care Center聽right here on campus at Edison Hall? Full-time employees at the College are eligible for a 10% discount for Kindergarten and Day Care.
Entertainment discounts in partnership with Plum Benefits and LifeMart

Opportunities for qualified employees to teach at 天美传媒
As a full-time employee, you may have the opportunity to earn supplemental income by sharing your knowledge and experience as an evening, weekend, or online instructor in support of our undergraduate or continuing education programs.
Health
Medical plans
Full-time employees and their eligible dependents qualify for a variety of medical plan options offered through the Middlesex County Joint Health Insurance Fund, with stipends for waiving coverage. Prescription coverage is available for full-time employees and eligible dependents, and eyeglass reimbursement is available for employees only.
Dental plans
Full-time employees and their eligible dependents qualify for a variety of dental plans offered through Cigna Dental. More information can be found in the separate benefits summaries for聽AFSCME/FOP/Teamsters听补苍诲听Administrators/Confidential/Faculty. The聽DHMO plan听补苍诲听Buy Up Plan聽are also eligible for all full-time employees.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): free, confidential counseling
A voluntary, free, and confidential program connects employees and their families with guidance, counseling, and assistance finding resources. The聽service is available through CCA on a 24/7 basis. For more information, visit聽
Free on-campus health and wellness coach
The coaching program is designed to help employees pick up valuable health and wellness tips.
On-campus physical education center access
The MCC Fitness Club is open to full-time faculty and staff at聽.
On-campus dental clinic
The on-campus聽聽provides a variety of services at an affordable cost for staff and family members. These include x-rays, polishings, scalings, and nutritional counseling. Faculty and staff can be seen for $5.
Employee health fairs with comprehensive health screening and free flu shots
These periodic events offer education about health and well-being through a variety of exhibits, workshops, demonstrations, and screenings.
